While planning my own wedding abroad, I found myself wanting a methodical, structured book… a place to throw ideas down, keep important information, and read advice on areas I clearly was researching for the very first time.

So I improvised. Notes everywhere, scraps of paper, endless tabs open. It worked… just about. But the idea, for a workbook styled journal stayed with me.

Fast forward ten years (somehow!), a wedding, two daughters, and the growth of our international wedding venue platform, Wedinspire, and that thought was still there. Quiet, but persistent.

The thought that brides deserved something more. Not just a planner, but a luxury, oversized workbook, something tactile, packed with editorial inspiration, and actually enjoyable to use.

And that’s how Your Wedding Journal began.
